When we turn on our air con, we automatically expect it to work without any problems. Try these tips to keep it that way:-
- Run your air con all year round – this lubricates the seal and reduces leakage.
- Have your air con serviced every year – this will highlight any problems before they become serious.
- Any problems don’t ignore them – You may be able to tolerate weaker cooling. However, the oil within the system will not be circulating properly. Less lubrication means more internal wear and, potentially, serious damage.
- Check the pollen filter annually - it can affect the performance.
